Event Story

Our vision

This trip is first and foremost a family vacation — a chance for all of us to be together in one place, slow down, and enjoy time that we don’t often get in everyday life. The wedding is an important part of that week, but it’s not the only reason we’re gathering. Our hope is to create space for connection, laughter, shared meals, and memories with our kids and the people we love most. We’re celebrating not just a ceremony, but the family we’ve built and the time we get to spend together along the way.

We’ve secured a room block for our wedding guests! Each room quote also includes round-trip airport transportation for added convenience. Please note: a minimum 3-night stay is necessary for all wedding groups to attend the wedding. Wedding Attire

This will be a casual beach-resort week, so we encourage everyone to dress comfortably most of the time. For the wedding day itself, we’re excited to dress things up a bit and celebrate together while still keeping the setting and climate in mind. For the ceremony and reception, the dress code is Beach Formal — elegant but relaxed. The ceremony will be indoors, and the reception will be outdoors, so think polished, breathable, and comfortable rather than traditional formalwear. Lightweight fabrics and breezy styles are perfect for the setting. For men, dress pants with a dress shirt are ideal. Jackets and ties are not needed, and we ask that there be no shorts or flip-flops for the wedding events. Loafers or dress shoes work great. For women, flowy dresses, midi or maxi styles, or a dressy jumpsuit fit beautifully with the setting. Beach-formal attire can be sophisticated and relaxed — light fabrics, soft colors, and comfortable footwear like wedges or block heels are encouraged. The goal is to feel dressed up, comfortable, and ready to celebrate — polished without being stuffy, and perfectly suited to a beach-resort evening.
